The Work
Fabricated Copper sheet, Silver plated. Metal sculpture is 8" wide x 18" long. Pedestals were custom made from MDF for each piece with a hole pierced in the top for each metal sculpture. The metal sculpture is then installed into the pedestal with the majority of the piece buried inside the pedestal like an ice burg. With this I was able to create a greater amount of depth within the sculpture while maintaining the illusion of simplicity.
